Steps Course in Colorectal Cancer Surgery

Champalimaud Foundation will host the interactive course “Steps Course in Colorectal Cancer Surgery” with 1:1 ratio of faculty/students and 8 (eight) vacancies.

    Application via com@fundacaochampalimaud.pt : 5th & 6th year residents/ Specialists < 3 years including short CV (4 pages maximum)

    Faculty will be: Amjad Parvaiz, Carlos Carvalho, Geerard Beets, Inês Santiago, José F Cunha, Nuno Figueiredo, Oriol Parés, Pedro Leão, Richard J Heald e Tas Qureshi.

    Colorectal Imaging

    Concept of Complete Mesocolic Excision and Total Mesorectal Excision

    Standardized approach to right / left / transverse colectomy for cancer

    Total mesorectal excision: open, laparoscopic, transanal and robotic

    Watch & Wait - radiation techniques, selection and follow-up

    Local Excision after neoadjuvant treatment.
