Meeting Description

This meeting collaboration between the Association for Cancer Immunotherapy CIMT and the Champalimaud Foundation will address promising paths towards effective cellular treatment modalities for patients with solid cancer and discuss the boundaries of synthetically engineered immune cells. The meeting will also discuss the innovation gap between academic and small biotech driven research, and the challenges of safe, biologically, and clinically relevant phase I / II clinical trials.

In this talk, we will hear about the strategic decisions, challenges and breakthroughs that propelled the company to its selling the assets to the pharmaceutical giant, BioNTech.

Este evento irá aproximar o conhecimento clínico e avanços em investigação, reunindo especialistas e profissionais de saúde para discutir as mais recentes descobertas e desenvolvimentos clínicos no diagnóstico e tratamento do Cancro de Pele Não-Melanoma.

Este ano, a 7th Champalimaud Cancer Nurse Conference propõem abordar e discutir o tema inspirado no título da música de Bob Dylan The Times They Are A-Changin'.

Num mundo em constante mudança, a adaptação a realidades emergentes é uma exigência constante. Na área da saúde esta premissa tem um impacto profundo na reorganização dos serviços e dos cuidados.

The course is scheduled to take place at the Champalimaud Institute in Lisbon from April 15 to April 19, 2024, and will be limited to 20 students.

The symposium will be organised as a single-track scientific meeting and count with keynote & invited speakers, talks selected from abstracts and a poster session together with other networking and social activities. It will be held on the 11^th and 12^th of March, 2024 at the Main Auditorium of the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal.
