VR Game to Accelerate Learning
Motor skill training is essential for diverse populations, from elite athletes optimizing performance to clinical patients recovering motor function. However, significant gaps exist between basic motor learning research and real-world training applications. While basic science provides fundamental understanding of learning mechanisms, applied fields have developed practical training tools. Notably, these two domains rarely integrate effectively. This project will develop scientifically-based training protocols by systematically combining theoretical insights from basic motor science with implementation strategies from the sports research world.
